Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Terry & Tub collects when you use this site, what happens to it, and what we do not collect. Terry & Tub is published by Janet Media Group.

We do not ask you to create an account, we do not sell data, and the only personal information we ever hold is what you type into the contact form. Analytics is aggregate and anonymous. Affiliate links set a cookie on the retailer's site, not ours.

Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, optional subject and message you provide. That is sent to us by email so we can reply. We keep it for as long as it takes to deal with your message and any follow-up, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. It records aggregate, anonymized information: pages viewed, approximate location (country or region level), device type, referring site, and whether a buy link was clicked. It does not tell us who you are.

Server logs. Like any website, our host records standard request information including IP address, user agent and the page requested. These are used for security and diagnostics and are not linked to any other data.

• No accounts, no passwords, no profiles.
• No payment information -- nothing is sold on this site.
• No newsletter list, because we do not run one.
• No cross-site advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
• No data about what you buy after clicking a link. Retailers report commissions to us in aggregate, not by person.

This site sets analytics cookies through Google Analytics. It sets no advertising cookies of its own.

When you click a buy button, the retailer -- Amazon, in nearly every case -- sets its own cookie to record that we referred you. That cookie belongs to the retailer and is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. It typically lasts 24 hours. More on how the links work.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect anything on this site.

• Google Analytics -- aggregate site analytics. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Amazon Associates -- affiliate link attribution. Governed by Amazon's privacy notice.
• Our hosting provider -- serves the site and keeps standard request logs.
• Microsoft Graph -- delivers contact form submissions to us as email.

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone else, and there is very little to share.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, tell us and we will delete it.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. In practice this will almost always be a contact form message and our reply to it. Email janet.hoyo@yahoo.com and we will handle it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. We will honor any such request; the same email address is the way to make one.

If this policy changes materially, the change will be made here and the page will say when. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
